School season is fast approaching full of busy nights. Packed schedules do not have to be an excuse for non-homemade meals. This kid approved meal will be sure to please. Cue the hero….crockpot!

INGREDIENTS:

  • 8 skinless drumsticks
  • salt/pepper to taste
  • 1/4 cup pure Maple syrup
  • 2 tbsp. balsamic vinegar
  • 1/4 cup Dijon mustard
  • 1-2 garlic clove minced

INSTUCTIONS:

Season chicken with salt and pepper and place in slow cooker.

Mix maple, balsamic Dijon, and garlic in a small bowl. Stir until smooth.

Pour over the drumsticks. Set slow cooker to HIGH and cook 4 hours, or until cooked through and tender.

Serve 2 drumsticks with you favorite side… broccoli, pasta, salad. Enjoy!
