I started running consistently 10 years ago! I was a divorced mom and overweight. I had never run over a 5K. I started to take my health seriously and began to workout. I joined a work team for the Dallas Marathon relay and wasn’t prepared the initial training run. From that point I decided to run routinely. I went on to complete the relay leg and that gave me the confidence to run more races and longer distances. Now, I am a seasoned runner with 11 marathons and plenty of lower distance races. I really enjoy it and don’t mind sharing my passion for running.
