Hello! I’m Kai, a proud plus size runner in Dallas, TX. Over the past five years I’ve completed several Run Project races, including Too Hot to Handle x2, Too Cold to Hold x2, Hot Cake Hustle, Skyline, and Pumpkin Spice. What started as a personal challenge has grown into a passion that brings me joy, discipline, and purpose. And I have my run club families to thank you that; ZFT Dallas & Run It Up Dallas.
I’m also the founder of Curvy Girl Movement: Sweaty & Steady #50MileChallenge, a running community I created for curvy, plus size, beginner, and back of the pack women. Through this space, I show that runners come in all sizes, paces, and backgrounds, and that confidence starts the moment you decide to lace up. I always say it’s a privilege to move your body, and every pace deserves celebration We all run our own race, at our own pace.
Running has changed my life. It’s connected me with incredible people, opened doors for travel and experiences, and helped me build a community I’m so proud of. My mission is to keep showing up with representation, encouragement, and joy to inspire more women to see themselves in the running space.
I’d be honored to bring that same energy and leadership to the 2026 Run Project Ambassador team.
