The Greenville Ave Area Business Association (GAABA), producers of the 43rd Dallas Mavs St. Patrick’s Parade and Festival, are honored to officially announce, Mike Modano, as the 2024 Honorary Grand Marshal.
Mike Modano was the man who put hockey on the map in Big D. As one of the greatest American-born hockey player in NHL history, Modano played 21 seasons in the NHL and became a Stanley Cup Champion with the Stars in 1999.
Mike will be leading this year’s parade scheduled for March 16, with his wife Allison and his children, Jack, Kate, Reese, Luca and Quinn.
Following the Parade, Mike will be unveiling his official statue on the plaza outside American Airlines Center next to his friend and contemporary, Dirk Nowitzki at 4:00 p.m.
