Join us in July for extreme fun in the summer sun.  Ever since the race began in 1995, Too Hot to Handle continues to be the premier event of the summer racing season.   Too Hot To Handle offers two amazingly fun distances...a flat fast 15K and a hugely popular 5K.  The Sponsor Village in Norbuck Park will be packed with awesome sponsors, various snacks, live music, a beer garden.  Be in the Zone
This year there's something new to add to your "Too Hot"  experience.  We've added 2 "Zones" that you'll want to visit.  The Cooling Zone will  have cool towels, a cooling truck, bottled water, and sprinklers.  Recovery Zone, brought to you by Baylor Sports, will provide an opportunity for stretching and massages.

Participants will receive a sleeveless tech race shirt.

Awards: 

To be eligible for an award, you must wear a timing tag. Top 3 Overall Male & Female. 1st Overall Masters Male & Female .Top 3 Male & Female finishers in the following age groups: 9 and under, 10-14, 15-19, 20-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60-64, 65-69, 70-74, 75+

15K Finishers will receive a unique Too Hot to Handle medal designed to stand along or be linked to your Too Cold to Hold medal.

 

Beneficiary: 


Every four minutes, someone new is diagnosed with blood cancer. Every 10 minutes, someone dies. Team In Training is the world's first and largest endurance sports training program, which has raised over $1.4 billion to fight blood cancers. In exchange for training and support, Team in Training participants help raise money towards cures for blood cancers like leukemia -- the No. 1 disease killer of children -- lymphoma and myeloma. The North Texas Chapter of LLS gave more than $1.3 million in copay assistance to blood cancer patients in 2013 and have $1.3 million promised to local researchers in 2014.
