Dash Down Greenville 5K

Saturday, March 15, 2014 - 8:00am

Congratulations and thanks to the sell-out crowd of runners and walkers who participted in this year's St. Paddy's Day  Dash Down Greenville.  It was a fine morning to celebrate, even if you  were only Irish for the day.  A record number of people donned their green gear, and ran (or walked) with us down Greenville Avenue right before the big parade.  We had beer, food, a live band, cash prizes, and more fun than ever before.  Besides having fun, participants contributed to the North Texas Food Bank, the annual beneficiary of the event.

The amount that Bob and Rebecca Wallace have given to the North Texas Food Bank from the proceeds of Dash Down Greenville has increased steadily every year.  All our participants are sure to be as happy as Bob and Rebecca to be able to contribute in this way to such a worthy cause.  Here's a photo of the 2013 contribution.
